available elsewhere Verizon Galaxy Nexus sold out in some stores

Just hours after it was launched at Verizon Wireless stores, some of them are reporting that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been sold out. But there’s a silver lining to the story – Amazon and Best Buy still have the Galaxy Nexus for Verizon available. It goes for $149.99 and $299.99 respectively on a two year deal with the carrier…

Keep in mind that shipping may vary, Amazon lists two days free-of-charge shipping but that could be stretched due to limited availability, while BestBuy quotes 2-5 business days.

It seems that new Nexuses are being delivered to Verizon stores on a daily basis but many users will end up disappointed by the lack of stock just a week before the Holiday weekend in the US. We suppose Amazon and Best Buy will also run out of the prime Android device eventually.
Still if you’re a Verizon user in the US and are interested in getting one, you could check out the offers from Amazon and Best Buy, possibly check out other US-based retailers too.

Black Friday deals roundup

Next Friday, the 25th, will see one of the busiest shopping days of this year, and there are plenty of deals in mobile to choose from, too. We are listing some of the more compelling of them by carrier in case you are in the market for a new phone or tablet.
We’ll try and keep this updated if new stuff comes out, or the terms of the deals change. These prices are for new two-year contracts, of course, and some of them are available right now.
Verizon – no need for much Black Friday here. Amazon Wireless has everything but the high-ends for a penny right now. The flagship LTE handsets Motorola DROID RAZR and the HTC Rezound are $199.99, the DROID BIONIC fell to $119.99, the BlackBerry Bold 9930 is $99, and the DROID 3 Global keeps things interesting at $59.99. Sam’s Club gives a helping hand with a $0.96 deal on the Samsung DROID CHARGE.
AT&T – the best deal here seems to be Sam’s Clubs Samsung Galaxy S II for $0.96, or, if you are not a member there, RadioShack’s offer of a $49.99 Samsung Galaxy S II for Black Friday is too cool to pass up on as well. The Infuse 4G is to be free at Best Buy, and the LTE darlings – Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and HTC Vivid 4G – are $189.99 and $159.99, respectively, on Amazon.
Sprint – the Motorola PHOTON 4G is to be $0.96 at Sam’s Club with a membership, or $49.99 at Amazon right now. The flagship Samsung Epic 4G Touch is $99.99 at Amazon, and it all goes downhill from there, including $49.99 for the HTC EVO 3D.
T-Mobile – while not exactly a Black Friday event, T-Mobile will be hosting a sale this Saturday November 19, where $49.99 hits the price ceiling for phones and tablets, including the flagships, after mail-in rebate.
Tablets – Best Buy has a $249.99 Asus Eee Pad Transformer door buster, and the 7″ Acer Iconia Tab will be $189.99 there, sulking the Kindle Fire. Staples is having a sale on the 10.1″ Acer Iconia Tab for $299.99, while the BlackBerry PlayBook will greet you there with the modest $199.99 price tag.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, a budget dual-core droid, has gone on sale in the UK and in Germany…

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, a budget dual-core droid, has gone on sale in the UK and in Germany. Besides the dual-core processor, the Ace 2 also brings a bigger, better screen, more RAM and built-in storage over its predecessor.

Anyway, in the UK the Galaxy Ace 2 can be had from Carphone Warehouse on contract (18 and 24 month contracts are available) on Vodafone, Orange, O2 and Talkmobile. The price starts at free with £20 a month (for 24 months) or £36 a month (for 12 months). Phones4U also has several on-contract deals.

If you don’t want a new contract, Amazon UK will set you up with a new SIM-free Galaxy Ace 2 for £215.

In Germany, the phone (with NFC) is available for €0,01 with a contract or €264 off contract from Guenstiger. Amazon Germany carries it for €284 with NFC and €320 without (a spot of weird pricing here on Amazon’s part).

Nokia Lumia 900 climb to the top of the best seller charts……

Just two days after it went on sale, the Nokia Lumia 900 managed to climb to the top of the Amazon best seller charts.

The black version of the phone is the one leading the parade, while the cyan edition takes a respectable fifth place. The two Nokia Lumia 900 versions are also easily the two most popular AT&T devices currently available on Amazon. The Lumia 900 also tops Amazon’s Movers and Shakers list with the cyan variant boasting 394% growth.

And what about the HTC Titan II, which launched alongside the Nokia flagship you ask? Its $100 higher asking price obviously prevented it from coming even come close to the Nokia Lumia 900′s blooming success and it didn’t even make the top 20.
